The air traffic control office in the terminal has a PC available for you for flight preparation with PC_MET access. In addition, you can request NOTAM from the air traffic control office or have required documents for flight planning sent to the office's fax machine (+49 7541 / 712 17).
Our shuttle service will bring your reliably from point A to point B within the airport grounds.
We will gladly allow you to park your aircraft in a Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen hangar – as long as enough spaces are available. For current information on this topic, please contact the air traffic control office of Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen.

Please let our ramp personnel know if you want us to defrost your aircraft. During the winter season – from October through to and including March – we keep sufficient resources for de-icing and anti-icing measures available.

Please understand that scheduled and charter flights will be given priority.
General aviation aircraft is parked on apron 3 or 4, just in front of the control tower or west of it. The requirement is that your aircraft not exceed the maximum take-off weight of 5,700 kilograms.

In addition, a shuttle service brings you to the terminal or to your aircraft at your request.
Fuelling at Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen is done by special tankers. AVGAS 100LL and Jet A-1 are offered. Simply contact our airport ramp personnel if you want us to fill up your aircraft. You can pay conveniently pay directly at the tanker with a BP or Esso carnet card.

You can also pay in the air traffic control office or with cash and all major credit and debit cards. Unfortunately, you cannot pay directly at the tanker with cash or credit cards. Carnet cards from Shell are also not accepted. Please understand that scheduled and charter flights will be given priority.

By the way: You can fuel AvGas on your own at Bodensee-Airport Friedrichshafen as the owner of a BP carnet card. To do this, activate the automatic machine of the respective AvGas fuelling pump using your carnet card. After just a few moments you can fuel your aircraft.
Access for passengers and crew is only made through the security checkpoint in the terminal. General aviation passengers will be accompanied by a crew member who submits his or her valid pilot's license at the security checkpoint. Customs and immigration processing is carried out by the border police at the customs office in the arrivals area.

During most fairs, there is a shuttle bus between the terminal/train stop and the exhibition entrance. They take you to the exhibition grounds quickly and free of charge.

We offer de-icing/anti-icing during the winter season (October through the end of March). Please contact the ground staff at the airport with your de-icing request in a timely manner. Scheduled and charter flights take priority.
