AERO 2025 will take place from April 9 – 12, 2025 at the Messe Friedrichshafen exhibition center.

AERO is the leading international trade fair for general aviation, business aviation and air sports. Aircraft ranging from civilian drones to gliders, microlights and gyrocopters, helicopters, touring and training aircraft with piston engines or propeller turbines and business jets will be on display.

Entry/exit from/to non-Schengen states

Content

Entry/exit from/to non-Schengen countries can only take place via the checkpoint in the airport terminal building. Persons arriving from non-Schengen countries must report independently to the shuttle bus driver, who will then take them to the terminal building after landing. A regular shuttle bus runs in front of the terminal building to the exhibition grounds. Passengers departing for non-Schengen destinations go directly to the airport terminal building and report there at the security checkpoint. A transfer between the terminal and the pilot entrance/exit at the exhibition grounds is not possible.

Access to the aircraft

For access to the aircraft, please present the following documents at the access control at the exhibition grounds:

  • A valid pilot’s license
  • A valid identity card
  • Proof of the booked departure slot (also possible digitally)

Please enter the details of the guests traveling on the departure flight in the app beforehand

Getting to the trade fair

Free bus shuttles run between Friedrichshafen Airport and the pilot entrance to Messe Friedrichshafen.
