AERO 2026

Content

AERO 2026 will take place from April 22 to 25, 2026, at the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Center.

AERO is the leading international trade fair for general aviation, business aviation, and air sports, and is being held for the 32nd time this year. Aircraft on display range from civilian drones, ultralight aircraft, gyrocopters, helicopters, and piston-engine or propeller-turbine-powered travel and training aircraft to business jets.

New propulsion systems, electric flight, state-of-the-art avionics, services, and accessories for pilots are further focal points. These topics are also reflected in the AERO Conferences, making Europe’s largest general aviation event an important platform for knowledge exchange and continuing education.

Entry into/departure from non-Schengen countries

Content

Entry into/departure from non-Schengen countries can only be made via the control point in the airport terminal building. Passengers arriving from non-Schengen countries must report to the shuttle bus driver, who will then take them to the terminal building after landing. A regular shuttle bus runs from the terminal building to the exhibition grounds. Passengers departing for non-Schengen destinations should go directly to the airport terminal building and report to security. Transfer between the terminal and the pilots’ entrance/exit at the exhibition grounds is not possible.
